I started recording something: every time I get itchy to chase gains or add to my position, I pause for five seconds and write a sentence: "What am I relying on right now to place this order?" Strangely, once I actually write it down, I realize that many times it's not information driving me, but emotions—fear of missing out, fear of falling behind, feeling unbalanced when I see others sharing their profits. Recently, everyone has been comparing RWA, US bond yields, and various on-chain "yield products," and I also get caught up in the rhythm, but looking back at my records helps me stay calm: are the protocol's cash flow and TVL really keeping up? Or am I just looking for an excuse to rush in? Anyway, for now, this is better—writing a line is more useful than stubbornly resisting FOMO.
