Russia states that there are currently no plans to extend the ceasefire

Mars Finance News, May 10 — Previously, U.S. President Trump expressed hope that Russia and Ukraine would “significantly extend” the ceasefire. In response, Russian Presidential Aide Ushakov said that there are currently no plans to extend the ceasefire from May 9 to 11. Additionally, Russian Presidential Press Secretary Peskov stated on May 9 that there is still a long way to go to reach a peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine, and it involves many complex details. Although the U.S. is eager to see results, patience is still required at this time. (CCTV International News)
