Deep Tide TechFlow News, on May 10, shipping-tracking information updated by the “Maritime Traffic Website” on the 10th shows that a Qatar liquefied natural gas (LNG) transport vessel has successfully passed through the Strait of Hormuz and entered the Gulf of Oman, heading toward Pakistan. It is reported that this is the first Qatar LNG transport vessel to pass through the Strait of Hormuz since the United States and Israel launched military actions against Iran about 70 days ago. The route map shows that the vessel used a new shipping channel recently activated by Iran. The LNG transport vessel sent location information via the Automatic Identification System on the 9th, indicating that it had entered the Strait of Hormuz, and then it stopped transmitting position signals for a long period. The shipping-tracking information updated on the 10th shows that the vessel has successfully passed through the strait and entered the Gulf of Oman. (Jin10)
