Understand trend momentum and seize the breakout ignition point. 【Trader Course】 Trend momentum: Usually refers to the force that drives the price to continue in its current direction. It is commonly judged by observing changes in trading volume and the expansion or convergence of the green and red histogram bars of indicators such as MACD/RSI, to determine whether the “momentum is sufficient.”
Ignition point: Often refers to the launch position right after the market finishes consolidating sideways or after a pullback, when it is about to enter an accelerated uptrend (the main breakout wave). It is often accompanied by signals such as a breakout on increased volume through key resistance levels, multiple technical indicators turning upward at the same time (indicator resonance), and other indicators.
Practical takeaways: Many trading systems emphasize combining three elements—“volume and price coordination” (price rises with rising volume), “pattern breakout” (such as breaking above moving averages or the range of a box), and “momentum confirmation”—to improve the success rate of capturing the ignition point. $BTC $ETH
