According to News1, the Korea National Tax Service is conducting its first pilot program to entrust private crypto custody institutions with the safekeeping and management of seized virtual assets.

The related tender was announced on April 29, with the bid deadline set for May 12, and the pilot is planned to run until the end of this year.
Major Korean custody institutions such as KODA, KDAC, Hecto WalletOne, BDACS, InfiniteBlock, and others are all preparing to participate.
Although the budget for this pilot project is only about $5,800, industry experts believe that obtaining a "Korea National Tax Service project" reference case carries symbolic significance.
