Hyperscalers Free Cash Flow Heads for 2014 Low as AI Spending Surges
Analyst estimates show the full-year free cash flow of Amazon, Alphabet, Meta, and Microsoft is set to fall to its lowest level since 2014 as hyperscaler AI spending approaches $805 billion this year. Visible Alpha estimates Amazon could burn about $10 billion in cash this year, while Wall Street expects the four-company group to generate about $4 billion of combined free cash flow in the third quarter.
