Recently, everyone has been arguing about which L2 has higher TPS, lower fees, and more aggressive subsidies. Honestly, as an ordinary user, I only have two feelings: transfers shouldn't be slow or expensive, and ideally I shouldn't have to switch a bunch of wallets and bridges. Modularization sounds very profound, but in practice it’s just “breaking down the backend”: execution, data, and settlement each do their own thing. Theoretically, this can make the chain more scalable and wallets easier to route. If it really matures, users might only have one sentence—just click confirm, and I don’t have to worry about which chain to go to or which bridge to use. Anyway, I’m used to doing less when I’m emotionally full; I’ll wait until everyone’s arguments are tired and the experience really improves before using it slowly.
