Iranian envoy: If the United States acts rationally, reaching an agreement is possible
BlockBeats News, May 10th, according to the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA), Iran’s ambassador to Armenia, Khaleh Sherhami, emphasized that if those countries that have carried out illegal aggression against Iran return to rational, logical policies and actions, an agreement could be reached. Sherhami stressed in an interview with Armenian television on Saturday that the U.S. and Israeli regimes’ aggression against Iran clearly shows that Iran cannot be forced to surrender or accept any extreme demands through military means, pressure, or threats.
He stated that Iran is willing to reach an agreement through negotiations, but this requires a clear guarantee that the United States will adopt rational, logical approaches to ensure no further military aggression against Iran. He also emphasized that Iran opposes selective interpretation of international law and will never allow the Iranian nation to be deprived of its right to peacefully utilize nuclear capabilities.
