Wasabi Protocol Details Exploit That Drained $4.8M in User Funds, Compensation Undecided
Wasabi Protocol said an attacker exploited a Spring Boot Actuator configuration flaw in its AWS infrastructure and drained approximately $4.8 million in user funds. Wasabi Protocol said the attacker also took $900,000 from the protocol treasury after obtaining the private keys controlling EVM smart contracts. Wasabi Protocol said no final user compensation plan has been decided yet.
