If you had invested $2,000 in Micron $MU in 2010, you would be rich today.

Hmm...
Let's assume you did nothing and held on until now.
You would have about $3,250 by the end of 2015
and did nothing.
Then watch that $3,250 climb to around $13,200 at the peak in 2018,
and still do nothing.
Then see $13,200 cut nearly in half to about $7,300 during the crash at the end of 2018,
and still do nothing.
Then watch $7,300 surge to about $21,400 at the peak in November 2021,
and still do nothing.
Then see $21,400 crash down to around $11,600 at the bottom in September 2022,
and still do nothing.
Then witness $11,600 explode to about $175,700 right now,
and for some reason, finally decide to do something...
So yes, investing $2,000 in Micron in 2010 would be worth about $175,700 today.
The lesson is still the same.
Everyone dreams of the final number.
Almost no one has the guts to endure the volatility to make it happen...
