Who truly desires sex more?

If a man hasn't had sex in a long time, he will say, "I'm about to die from frustration, as long as it's a woman."
If a woman hasn't had sex in a long time, she will say, "It's okay, but the last time he did that to me, I was really hurt."
A man's desire points to "solving"
A woman's desire points to "confirmation"—confirming that she is still loved, still needed, still attractive.
So back to the question: who desires more?
If "sex" refers to organ friction, fluid exchange, and stress relief—men win hands down. Our desire is written in our genes, in morning erections, in every sleepless night.
But if "sex" refers to the feeling of being desired, the sense of safety in being fully accepted, seeing oneself shine in another person's eyes—the level of a woman's desire is so deep that men simply cannot imagine.
