US IRAN STANDOFF DRAGS ON AS STRAIT OF HORMUZ REMAINS ON EDGE.

Despite a temporary calm in the Strait of Hormuz after days of sporadic attacks, the US and Iran appear no closer to ending the war.

Washington is still waiting for Tehran’s response to the latest US proposal aimed at formally ending the conflict and opening broader peace talks.

But so far:
No response.
No breakthrough.
No deal.

At the same time, pressure is intensifying.

• The US expanded sanctions on Iran-linked entities
• Washington reportedly warned allies over weak support
• Analysts say Iran could withstand a US blockade for months
• A Qatari LNG tanker is now sailing toward Hormuz, putting global energy markets on high alert

The stakes remain enormous.

Any disruption in the Strait of Hormuz directly threatens:
• Global oil flows
• LNG shipments
• Inflation expectations
• Shipping routes
• Crypto and risk markets

Meanwhile, diplomatic activity continues behind the scenes, with Secretary of State Marco Rubio reportedly meeting Qatar’s prime minister in Miami.

For now, the region remains stuck between war and negotiation.

Hormuz fragile.
Markets tense.
World watching.
