Deep Tide TechFlow News, May 10 — Russian President Vladimir Putin said he believes the Russia-Ukraine conflict is “about to end,” and said that Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico told him that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is ready to meet.

Putin also said that Russia appreciates the United States for facilitating dialogue, but that the Russia-Ukraine issue is “ultimately a matter between Russia and Ukraine,” and that both sides can hold meetings in a third country, provided that a durable peace agreement is reached.

In addition, Putin said that former German Chancellor Gerhard Schröder is a suitable person to mediate negotiations between Russia and the European Union, and expressed hope that the conflict in Iran can end as soon as possible. (Jin10)
