Actually, everyone understands that whether it's PFP or memberships, in the short term it's about attention; in the long term, it's whether you can keep people in a "Anyway, I’m willing to come back" community. A few days ago, I was emotionally overwhelmed and almost went to pursue a new avatar again, but then I saw the funding rate start to fluctuate and the positions tilt heavily to one side—that kind of vibe came out. I immediately calmed down: at this point, most of what I buy isn’t faith, it’s that I want to find a sense of belonging.

What’s even more amusing is that the rumors about stablecoin regulation, reserve audits, and de-pegging are starting to cycle again in the group. When everyone gets anxious, they love to band together even more, and the membership threshold ends up feeling like an emotional placebo. To put it simply, whether a brand is valuable depends on whether it still provides you with an information advantage and security during turbulent times; otherwise, it’s just changing the picture to serve as a talisman… I’ll hold back for now and revisit this after some reflection.
