Just now, I experienced a "lag" when refreshing on-chain data again. It's not my internet connection; many times it's the indexer/subgraph catching up: when a new block arrives, it first has to weigh the raw materials, knead the dough, put it in the oven, before serving it on the table; even connecting directly to RPC isn't necessarily faster, as nodes will also rate-limit, like a store with many customers where the owner says "Please queue up, one transaction per person." So, it's normal that the time you see a transaction in your browser, subgraph, or your own script doesn't match exactly. Recently, we've been discussing rate cut expectations, the dollar, and risk assets rising and falling together. My feeling is: when sentiment heats up, the number of people checking data surges, and lag becomes more noticeable... Anyway, I now notice that active users take a few more seconds to load, so don't panic and think "the chain is down."
