Coinbase's CEO Brian Armstrong has termed a recent outage 'unacceptable', promising to review and improve the exchange's infrastructure. The outage, caused by an AWS data center cooling failure, affected trading services, account access, and balance displays. Armstrong hinted at tradeoffs between speed and resilience in the exchange's design.
