Recently, people keep saying "It's all written on the chain, the truth is on the chain," and hearing that makes me want to laugh and feel a bit guilty... Frankly, the "on-chain data" you see is separated by nodes, RPCs, indexers, and a bunch of couriers passing the data around. Whoever is busy, congested, or having a glitch, the information might be delayed. If you stare at a dashboard for a long time and it doesn't update, it doesn't necessarily mean nothing has happened; maybe it just hasn't been "translated" for you yet.

These days, Layer 2s are competing in TPS, fees, and subsidies, and it's quite lively. I also envy others' dashboards that are fast and comprehensive, while mine gets stuck like a small cabin with no internet... But thinking about it, it's normal; infrastructure always involves delays and trade-offs. Anyway, I'm more relaxed now: just wait a few more minutes for key operations, compare several sources, and don't treat the "time you see" as the "time it happened." During a bear market, slow is okay, it's pretty good.
