Been trying to figure out what's actually worth watching this weekend and honestly the options are kind of overwhelming right now. Everyone's got new stuff dropping and I'm already behind on like half of it.
Okay so if you're looking for the best shows to watch this weekend, definitely check out Criminal Record Season 2 on Apple TV - it's got Peter Capaldi and the UK mystery vibes I'm apparently addicted to. Also Half Man on HBO Max just started and it's from the guy who did Baby Reindeer so that's on my list even though the reviews are mixed.
For movies, Apex on Netflix looks solid if you want some action with gorgeous Australian scenery. Marty Supreme finally hit HBO Max and I'm hyped about that one. The Michael Jackson biopic is in theaters and there's apparently this huge gap between what critics think versus audiences so that's kind of interesting.
If you want the best shows to watch this weekend that are already ongoing, The Boys Season 5 is killing it right now - the latest episode was genuinely great. Daredevil Born Again Season 2 just dropped too and people seem really into it. Hacks is doing its final season with a perfect score which is wild.
Honestly though there's so much to pick from, finding the best shows to watch this weekend really depends on what mood you're in. Are you going for drama, comedy, something dark? I feel like I need like a week just to decide what to actually start. What are you planning to watch?
