Honestly, now solving homework just through photos is no longer science fiction. I recently noticed how my younger classmates actively use various neural networks to analyze problems. Upload a photo of an example — and within a couple of seconds, you get not only the answer but also a step-by-step explanation. It’s crazy, honestly.

I tested several popular services. Photomath and Mathway are classics for those into math. Just point your camera at the equation, and they provide a solution with a full breakdown. They work on printed examples as well as handwritten ones (though they sometimes mess up with handwriting). Symbolab is a bit more advanced, but for students and high schoolers — it’s a real find. Integrals, differential equations, graphs — everything is neatly organized.

If you need something more versatile, Wolfram|Alpha is a beast. Not only math, but physics, chemistry, statistics — it covers hundreds of topics. However, it only recognizes photos in the paid version. MathGPT is interesting — free, doesn’t require registration, and understands Russian. It covers math, physics, and chemistry simultaneously.

And if you’re too lazy to deal with separate services, there’s BotHub and Gauth — which gather many different AI models and tools in one place. Plus, universal neural networks like ChatGPT or Gemini also handle photo tasks pretty well — they can help with almost any subject.

In short, solving homework from photos really works. The main thing is not just copying the answer but understanding the solution. That’s when it’s really useful. Are any of you already using such tools? Which ones do you like the most?
