Abstract generation in progress

CME plans to debut Bitcoin volatility futures on June 1, pending regulatory approval, giving traders a regulated way to trade expected four-week Bitcoin volatility instead of price direction. The contracts will reference the CME CF Bitcoin Volatility Index rather than Bitcoin’s spot price. Giovanni Vicioso said the product adds a new risk management layer to CME’s existing Bitcoin derivatives lineup.
