Recently, multi-chain wallets are becoming more and more like storage disasters: one main wallet, one interaction wallet, and then temporarily creating a new one for a new chain... As a result, assets are fragmented to the point where I have to scroll through the transaction history myself to find them. Now I force myself to do two things: one "cold" address only receives and does not move assets, and another "hot" address is specifically authorized for transfers, so no matter how many chains there are, it doesn't get messy—at most, I just switch networks a few more times.

Hardware wallets have been out of stock lately, and phishing links are also highly prevalent, which makes me more and more annoyed the more I look. Honestly, the extra step I’m willing to take is: before connecting to a DApp, copy the address and verify it, and clear previous authorizations. It takes about ten seconds, but it’s much better than waking up in the middle of the night and seeing my assets transferred without knowing. Anyway, since I can’t sleep, I just do it casually.
