AWS Launches USDC AI-Agent Payments With Coinbase and Stripe
AWS launched AgentCore Payments on May 7, letting AI agents pay for digital services with USDC in about 200 milliseconds. AWS built the system with Coinbase and Stripe, and developers can use either firm’s wallet with stablecoins or fiat. The first release supports payments on Base and Solana for APIs, web content, MCP servers, and other online tools. AWS said future versions could expand from micropayments into travel and merchant purchases.
