BlockBeats News. May 9 — According to reports, a liquefied natural gas carrier associated with Qatar loaded cargo at Ras Laffan Port earlier this month. On Saturday morning local time, the ship began attempting to sail out of the Persian Gulf.

Vessel tracking data shows that the ship is currently navigating a northern route near Qeshm Island and Larak Island, approved by Iran. If the ship successfully passes, this will be the first known Qatar liquefied natural gas export to pass through the Strait of Hormuz since the outbreak of war at the end of February. The ship’s listed destination is Karachi Port in Pakistan, with an expected arrival date of May 1. (Jin10)
