I've been interested in cloud mining for a long time, and now I have a few thoughts. I used to think that only those with expensive equipment and lots of free space at home could do crypto mining. But cloud mining sites have really changed the situation—you can just register and start without all the hassle of graphics cards and electricity bills.

I've tried several platforms over the past year. DeepHash seemed quite transparent—they show exactly where their farms are located and how the capacity is distributed. The interface is simple, although profitability depends on the contract you choose. StormGain is convenient because it's both an exchange and a mining platform—you can trade and mine in one app, which is practical for beginners.

ECOS appealed to me with its educational approach—lots of guides for newcomers, which makes sense since cloud mining sites are not just for fun. Genesis Mining has been around since 2013, which gives confidence, although their minimum amounts are higher. HashShiny is interesting because of its low entry threshold—you can start with small contracts and see how it works.

Of course, the profitability isn't as fantastic as advertised. Realistically, it's about 3-4% per day at best, and this depends on many factors. The main thing is to choose a platform with some history so you don't fall for a scam. Cloud mining sites are becoming more popular because the entry barrier is really low, but you should keep your expectations realistic.
