U.S. officials deny reports of "America attacking Iranian civilian ships resulting in multiple missing persons"
Mars Finance News: On May 9, the governor of Lenge Port County in Iran’s southern Hormozgan Province denied earlier reports about “U.S. fighter jets attacking multiple Iranian cargo ships and fishing boats near the port of Haiceb in the sea area of Oman.”
The report said that six ships were attacked, leaving 6 people missing and 6 people injured.
The governor of Lenge Port County said in an interview that the related reports “are not true,” which some media outlets released in his name.
He emphasized that, to date, the relevant authorities have not released any official or verified information or statistics regarding such attack incidents. (Jin10)
