Truist Financial Corp Increases Holdings in Sempra Energy $SRE
Truist Financial Corp significantly increased its stake in Sempra Energy by 21.8% in Q4, acquiring 15,698 additional shares to reach a total of 87,750 shares valued at $7.75 million. This coincides with several other institutional investors also increasing their holdings in Sempra. Despite revenue falling below expectations and cautious 2026/2027 EPS guidance, Sempra reported Q1 EPS that matched estimates, and analysts maintain a “Moderate Buy” consensus rating with an average target price of $102.67.
