@📊 JPMorgan: Money is flowing from gold into Bitcoin after the Iran conflict begins

JPMorgan is one of the largest banks in the world. Their analysts have recorded a shift in investor preferences.

• Bitcoin-ETF have been seeing inflows for the third month in a row, while gold ETFs have yet to recover from March outflows

• At JPMorgan, this is referred to as a rotation of the “debasement trade” — a strategy in which investors buy assets to hedge against currency devaluation, inflation, and geopolitical risks. Previously, gold was the preferred choice; now, Bitcoin is increasingly favored

• Demand is coming not only from retail investors. Institutional players are building positions via CME futures

• Michael Saylor’s strategy continues to buy BTC at an accelerated pace. If this momentum holds, the company’s purchase volume could reach ~$30 billion over the year

The chart shows how Strategy is ramping up purchases: in 2024 and 2025, the company bought about $22 billion worth of BTC per year, and at the current pace, it could reach ~$30 billion in 2026.
