It seems EAA is getting increasingly popular lately, and various brands are coming out with products. My friends who do weight training are talking about it too. I got curious and looked into which ones are really good, like Myprotein and Different.

When comparing popular EAA products, I felt that it all comes down to whether you choose based on ingredients or on taste. Impact EAA has an essential amino acid content of 79.6%, so it’s very efficient, but many people say it has a bitter aftertaste. On the other hand, the kiwi flavor one can be drunk like juice, but its essential amino acid content is 65.7%, which is on the lower side.

If you’re focused on value for money, F&W EAA lemon flavor is about 55 yen per serving, and it’s said to have an essential amino acid content of 83%. However, there were quite a few opinions that the bitterness is strong. If you want a sweeter and tasty EAA, there’s also a peach-flavored all-in-one type, but the trade-off is that it has more carbohydrates.

When choosing popular EAA products, I think it’s important to set your priorities. If you want to keep taking it every day, taste is fine, but if you’re prioritizing efficiency, you should probably check the ingredient information carefully. There are also balanced options, like REYS in lemon-lime flavor with β-alanine, so I think it’s worth trying.
