Just looked up how much earnings Clix actually has and honestly it's wild. This 21-year-old Fortnite player from Connecticut has somehow built a $27 million net worth already. Like, that's insane for someone who's barely old enough to drink.

So apparently Cody Conrod (that's his real name) started getting serious about Fortnite as a teenager and just completely took off. He qualified for the Fortnite World Cup back in 2019 and that's when things really changed. He pulled in like $112,000 just from that tournament alone. Since then he's been stacking wins - another $80,000 from FNCS Finals, $50,000 from DreamHack. Tournament earnings add up quick when you're actually good at the game.

But the real money? YouTube. Dude has over 3 million subscribers and his videos pull thousands of views daily. He's making somewhere between $1,200 to $18,000 per month just from YouTube ads depending on how many people are watching. That's before sponsorships even kick in. Then you've got the Twitch streaming, brand deals, and merchandise sales on top of everything else.

Total annual earnings are apparently somewhere around $1.1 to $1.5 million per year according to what I found. That's absolutely mental for someone who basically turned playing video games into a full-time job. The guy's got 3.6M YouTube subscribers, 2.5M on Instagram, and is active everywhere else too. His whole social media presence just keeps printing money.

What's crazy is he's still actively competing and streaming, not just living off old tournament money. The earnings keep coming from multiple streams - tournaments, content creation, sponsorships, all of it combined. Definitely proves you don't need a traditional career path if you're talented enough and consistent. Honestly makes you wonder how many other young gamers could be doing this if they had the same focus.
