Just been diving into the whole situation with Trump's health and there's something that keeps coming up that's hard to ignore. His ankles have become this weird focal point lately, and I'm not sure why nobody's talking about it more directly.

So apparently the president had this unscheduled dental appointment last weekend that wasn't on the official calendar. But here's where it gets interesting - the White House actually has a full dental office inside, which is what CNN's Jonathan Reiner pointed out. Why would Trump need to go somewhere else? The whole thing felt off, and then photos started circulating from when he came back. His dress shirt was unbuttoned, he wasn't wearing his signature red tie, and he looked visibly tired.

But the real story everyone's focusing on now is Trump's ankles. The swelling has been noticeable for months apparently, but over the weekend the photos showed it was significantly worse. Like, noticeably puffy in a way that had people asking questions. He actually mentioned to the Wall Street Journal back in January that he tried wearing compression socks for a bit but didn't like them and stopped. So Trump's ankles have just remained this ongoing issue that keeps appearing in photos.

There's also this whole thing about his health records being inconsistent. He had an annual physical in April 2025 where they said he was in excellent health, but then six months later in October there was another annual physical where they did an MRI. The White House never released details about that MRI, which sparked weeks of speculation. And now he's apparently overdue for his next physical.

What's wild is the disconnect between what the White House is saying and what people are actually seeing. His spokesman keeps insisting Trump is the sharpest, most energetic president, but the photos tell a different story. The swollen ankles, the way he's moving, the visible fatigue - it all adds up to something the administration doesn't want to address directly.

There's also this detail about him taking a really high dose of aspirin, 325 milligrams, which his doctors recommended he reduce by four times. But Trump refuses because he's worried about heart attacks. Combine that with Trump's ankles looking like that, the unexplained MRI, and the general pattern of health concerns over the past year, and you start to see why people are paying attention to these details.

The whole thing is a reminder of how much opacity there is around presidential health. Even something as visible as Trump's ankles swelling up becomes this weird mystery that nobody in the administration wants to properly explain.
