Lately, I've been toasting bread while watching on-chain activity, and I feel like the mainnet is that kind of "delicious but hot" baking tray: as soon as gas kicks in, confirming a transaction feels like applying extra strength to myself.

Eventually, I accepted it and try to handle small daily interactions on Layer 2, where the experience is indeed smooth, and the money saved is enough for me to buy two more packs of butter; but for large amounts or long-term holdings, I still go back to the mainnet to handle everything at once—it's more expensive, but I sleep soundly.

Recently, everyone’s been complaining about validator income, MEV, unfair ordering, and so on. I also get a bit annoyed—clearly, I just want to swap some coins normally, but it feels like queuing and getting cut in line...
My compromise is: if I can avoid competing, I avoid it; don’t always focus on the hottest few minutes.
Wait a little longer, with less emotion—often, it’s not the transaction fee that’s the loss, but the mindset.
That’s all for now.
