I used to really think that "a quick trade = bravery, grid/DCA = cowardice," as a newcomer, always believing that a quick hand could win. Now I understand: a quick trade is more like hanging your emotions on the K-line, staring at the screen when you can't sleep; grid/DCA, frankly, is just buying yourself an "avoid reckless actions" insurance, as long as you can sleep.

These days I saw that the main public chain is about to upgrade and maintain, and everyone in the group is guessing whether the ecosystem will migrate. My first reaction wasn't to bet on the direction, but to think: if I get temporarily stuck and can't withdraw tokens / the bridge is hard to use, can I hold the position I entered for one night? Anyway, I'm now more laid-back, willing to slowly grind with grid, but if I do a quick trade, I first need to think through the worst-case scenario, or else staying up all night refreshing the push notifications, and the next day, I might be completely wiped out.
