just saw this and it's kinda wild lol. ripple's cto schwartz actually sent 30 xrp to someone after they shared ai-generated prompts from an online argument. like, he literally put his money where his mouth is. the transaction went through with basically zero fees (0.000012 xrp), which is exactly the kind of thing ripple always talks about. so the whole thing started when schwartz got into a debate on x and someone pointed out that his critic was using an ai tool to generate responses. instead of getting mad, he just thought it was funny and offered to pay 15 xrp per prompt to see them. said max 10 prompts. dude actually followed through and sent 30 xrp for two of them. what's interesting is this isn't even his first random xrp transfer with a story attached. earlier this year he talked about the earliest days of xrp, like when the ledger first launched back in 2012. he and jed mccaleb and arthur britto built it from the ground up. the first email mentioning xrp he ever got was from vinnie falco in 2013, just asking for some coins. apparently it was alex kravets—the guy who invented google autocomplete—who actually sent falco the xrp back then. pretty cool seeing how small that early community was. anyway, with xrp trading around $1.42 now, those 30 coins he sent are worth like $42. not huge but the whole vibe of it is kinda refreshing tbh. you don't see many tech figures actually backing up their words like that.
