I recently saw a CBS News poll result, and Trump's support among his most loyal voter base has experienced a rare and significant decline, which is quite shocking.

According to a CBS/YouGov survey conducted in mid-April, among white, non-college-educated working-class voters, Trump's support dropped from 36 percentage points in February of this year to -4 points. You read that right, a full 40-point decrease. This group has long been considered Trump's most stable voting bloc, but now there has been a complete reversal.

Constitutional lawyer Robert Barnes bluntly stated on social media, "Trump has completely collapsed within his original base." Democratic strategist Nila Tanden also posted that this could signal a reorganization of the party. Political activist Amy Siskind emphasized the shock of this "40-point swing."

Overall, the American public's assessment of Trump's job performance is also not optimistic. 61% disapprove, only 39% approve. On economic issues, 63% believe the current economic situation is "bad." Regarding the Iran conflict, 64% oppose Trump's handling, with 62% believing he has "no clear plan" for the conflict.

If this trend continues, it could have far-reaching impacts on the entire political landscape. Whether Trump can turn the tide at this critical moment remains to be seen.
