Just saw that Ripple CEO's wedding was absolutely insane lol. Brad Garlinghouse married Tara Garlinghouse last weekend on the French Riviera and literally had Coldplay's Chris Martin performing at their first dance. Like, Coldplay. At a wedding. The venue was dripping in roses, chandeliers everywhere, and apparently every Hollywood name you can think of showed up. Fireworks over the Mediterranean and all that.
What's wild is the contrast though - dude's wedding was this whole fairy tale moment, but if you check XRP right now it's trading at $1.43, down 38% over the past year. Back in May he was celebrating that SEC settlement like it was the biggest win ever, and yeah it helped pump things initially, but the market's been brutal since then. Guy's worth billions but crypto's still doing its thing regardless of how fancy your wedding is.
Not hating on the wedding though, that looked genuinely epic. Just funny how these huge personal wins happen while the tokens are still getting tossed around by the market. What do you think - does the whole Ripple saga even matter anymore?
