Brothers, should we get in or not—so what’s the real deal?

Don’t rush. First, take a look at the latest Coinglass radar chart—BTC is currently hovering around the $80,000 mark. After last night’s “gate-crashing” style market move, every minute now tests your mindset.

Don’t look at the price chart seeming like still water with tiny ripples—beneath it, there are actually undercurrents surging. Let’s peel back the surface and see the essence:

· Price action—can’t push up, but also can’t fall cleanly.

Last night, when it tried to run higher, it was immediately pressed back. What does that mean? There is buying support, but nobody wants to be the first to charge forward and become the unlucky one who gets trapped.

A more critical signal: according to Coinglass data, below $76,357 lie $948 million worth of long liquidation stop-loss positions. This is the “open card” hunting zone set by the big players—meaning not just a technical checkpoint, but also a place where liquidity concentrates.

· On-chain indicators—someone is quietly distributing.

Feeling optimistic? Maybe not. CryptoQuant’s data shows that short-term holders are locking in profits at the fastest pace since December last year.

Now the unrealized profit rate has touched a peak of 18%—historically, every time it reaches this level, someone always can’t resist dumping. Right now, people are playing “running while it’s fast.”

· Macros and capital flows—risk hidden in good news.

Yesterday, the ETF still saw a net outflow of $146 million. For those hoping for an institutional bull run, it’s like a bucket of cold water. But strangely, the funding rate is negative (-0.0003%). That means many people are still frantically opening shorts—if the market hasn’t sunk yet, there’s room for upside-down betting in the other direction.

My take:

This is a standard long-short “settlement point.”

The positives are: geopolitical tensions are temporarily easing (oil prices fell), and inflation expectations give the crypto market a defensive rationale.

The sticking point is that on-chain data points to “a rebound that becomes distribution.” Above, $83,744 is also pressing down, with $850 million in short positions. Only a break through there can confirm the reversal.

Risk always comes first:

If the $79,500 short-term cost line can’t hold, don’t hesitate—below that is $76,800. In that moment, it might not be a slow drift down; it could be a needle-prick spike.

Specific trading ideas—“dating-scumbag” style trading: don’t fall in love emotionally:

· Long strategy:

· Entry: If the price retraces into the $78,800–$79,200 range and does not break, lightly test longs.

· Stop-loss: Place it strictly below $78,200.

· Take-profit: First target $81,500, second target $83,000.

· Logic: The risk-reward is reasonable here. If it breaks, you leave—don’t stubbornly hold.

· Short strategy:

· Entry: Short the rebound as it runs into the $81,800–$82,200 range (watch the 15-minute timeframe wicks).

· Stop-loss: Above $82,500.

· Target: Aim for the $80,000 psychological level.

· Logic: Since this is categorized as a rebound rather than a reversal, holding shorts at higher levels feels more solid.

· Position sizing: With volatility high recently, it’s recommended to keep principal within 3%. Don’t go full position betting on “who’s bigger.”

Finally, one question for brothers:

With the current chart, do you believe ETF inflows will eventually boost sentiment, or do you think “good news is already used up,” and you’re planning to hang short orders above 80,000 waiting for a pullback? Drop your levels in the comments—we’ll look together for the counterparty!
