I recently figured out a bunch of services for solving photo-based problems — turns out, the options are huge. I started with Photomath because everyone recommends it, and yes, it works great with printed formulas, providing instant answers from photos. But then I realized it only solves math, and I needed physics and chemistry solutions.
Next, I tried MathGPT — free, no registration required, and it understands Russian, even though the interface is in English. It gives detailed explanations for photo questions and even draws graphs. But it lacks the power for serious mathematics.
For higher-level math and complex calculations, Wolfram|Alpha is a different level altogether. It doesn’t just find ready-made answers; it computes everything itself. However, photo recognition is only available in the paid version.
If you need versatility, BotHub and Gauth are like mini-ecosystems with various AI models right there. Photo answers work well there, but they also handle text queries effectively. Symbolab and Mathway are also decent, but they are quite similar to each other.
Overall, all these services now provide decent photo-based answers; the main thing is to choose the one that fits your needs. For schoolwork, Photomath or Mathway; for versatility, Gauth or BotHub; for science, Wolfram|Alpha. Has anyone else tried these tools?
