Engineer Claude suggests that AI directly generate HTML
Crypto界网消息,Engineer Thariq from Claude posted that he has completely stopped using Markdown in his daily workflow and now defaults to having AI generate HTML files. He believes that as AI-generated plans become more complex, HTML’s advantages in information density and two-way interaction far surpass those of plain text. Thariq pointed out that Markdown over 100 lines is very hard to read and forces large models to use garbled ASCII characters for diagrams. Switching to HTML not only allows for intuitive presentation of architecture diagrams and interface designs with CSS and SVG but also enables deeper interactivity. The most important use case is letting AI build temporary editing interfaces. When faced with requirements difficult to describe in words, he asks Claude to create a temporary webpage with drag-and-drop cards or color sliders, along with a “Copy as JSON” button. After intuitively adjusting the results on the webpage, he directly copies the parameters back into the command line to feed the large model, completing a closed loop. Although writing HTML takes 2 to 4 times longer than Markdown and comparing differences in version control is more difficult, he states that this experience, which can bring humans back into the decision-making cycle, is totally worth it.
