Break another integer milestone!

Today, May 8, 2026, the Information Disclosure Network updated the data on “Dishonest Persons Subject to Enforcement in the Published List” from May 7, 2016: 8,600,312 people—surpassing the 8.6 million integer mark. Ten days ago, on April 27, this figure was still 8,590,032; in ten days, it increased by 100,000 people.
Behind these numbers are 8.6 million families struggling in the sea of suffering—and this is only the number officially recognized and published.
Is the figure of 8.6 million big? If I tell you the total strength of the armed forces is only 2 million; if I tell you that over nearly 50 years from 1978 to 2025, the cumulative number of Chinese students studying abroad is only 9.46 million, with about 40% studying in the United States—approximately 3.78 million; then look again at the number 8.6 million—do you think it’s big?
According to official statistics from the Ministry of Justice, in 2025–2026, across the 681 prisons nationwide, about 1.64 million convicted offenders are detained; detention centers hold about 350,000 to 400,000 awaiting trial or serving short-term detention. In total, there are 2 million people detained. From this number, and then looking at the number of 8.6 million dishonest persons subject to enforcement, do you think it’s big?
So let it be recorded—give history its record! $SOL
