Fujian Provincial Party Secretary Zhou Zuyi Meets with JD.com Group Chairman Liu Qiangdong

On May 8th, Zhou Zuyi, Secretary of the Fujian Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People’s Congress, met with Liu Qiangdong, Founder and Chairman of the Board of JD.com, and his delegation in Fuzhou. During the meeting, both sides discussed advancing the implementation of the 14th Five-Year Plan, deepening a new round of strategic cooperation, increasing investment in Fujian, promoting quality and expanded service consumption, driving integrated development of domestic and foreign trade, building an integrated logistics network for dry and branch warehouses, and accelerating the development of health, cultural tourism, and featured modern agriculture. They exchanged in-depth opinions on these topics. Both parties hope to further leverage their respective advantages based on a decade of cooperation, continuously explore cooperation potential, expand cooperation areas, and elevate the level of collaboration, jointly develop domestic and international markets, promote more high-quality Fujian products “going overseas,” support Fujian’s comprehensive promotion of high-quality development, foster cross-strait integration demonstration zones, and achieve higher-level mutual benefit and win-win results.
