U.S. Government's Intel Stake Gains Over $45B in Seven Months

The U.S. government’s 9.9% Intel stake was worth $54.1 billion after Intel closed at $124.92, up 13.96% in a single day. The position covers about 433.3 million shares and has gained more than $45 billion in seven months. The U.S. government bought the newly issued shares at $20.47 each on August 22, 2025, using funds converted under the CHIPS Act.
