AWS Launches USDC Agent Payments on Base and Solana With Coinbase and Stripe
AWS launched Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Payments with Coinbase and Stripe, using USDC and Coinbase’s x402 protocol that Coinbase said has processed more than 169 million machine-native payments. Coinbase said transactions settle in roughly 200 milliseconds on Base and Solana. AWS said the initial release supports micropayments for APIs, AI tools, MCP servers, and paywalled content. AWS said future versions could support bookings and purchases across merchant platforms.
