I'm just an ordinary person who loves watching TVL, but every time the chain gets congested, I start questioning life: sending a transaction isn't "on the chain," it's just queuing in the mempool, similar to fighting for tickets during the Spring Festival travel rush.

If I give too little gas, I stand at the back of the line and get penalized, watching others cut in line and get confirmed first; if I give too much, I feel guilty, like I'm tipping the miners/ordering algorithms... Anyway, those few minutes of refreshing the block explorer are more anxious than scrolling through short videos.

The funniest part is you think clicking cancel order will let you turn back? Actually, it's just a new transaction "covering" the old one, still needing to queue up, and if it gets congested, it's like racing against yourself.
In the group, people are discussing stablecoin regulation and reserve audits, while also shouting "the peg is breaking," and I see transactions stuck, automatically thinking: No way, not right before my confirmation...
They say they're calm, but their hands are already adjusting the gas.
