Iranian media: U.S.-Iran Persian Gulf clashes have currently ceased; regional conflicts may reignite

Gold Financial reports that on May 9th, Iran Tasnim News Agency on the 8th quoted military sources as saying that after the United States took military action against Iranian oil tankers, Iran’s armed forces have responded with fire to the U.S. violation of the ceasefire agreement’s “terrorist acts.” The source stated that after a period of fighting, the conflict has now ceased, and the situation has returned to calm. He also warned that if the U.S. attempts to enter the Persian Gulf again or harass Iranian ships, they will be met with a resolute response, and the possibility of similar conflicts erupting in the region still exists.
