Now “pulling wool” for rewards really feels a lot like clocking in at work: on the task platform, there’s a whole row of To-do items—check-ins, transfers, interactions, tweeting, recruiting people… and in the end, you still have to look at some inexplicable score. To put it plainly, the tighter the witch hunt gets, the harder it is for the witch hunter; meanwhile, regular people end up looking more like they’re writing weekly reports to prove, “It’s really me.”
What’s even more awkward is that the moment new L1/L2s offer incentives, they start pulling TVL. I can also understand the old users’ complaints about “mining, picking up, and selling”—everyone’s doing the math: you pay the Gas, you get eaten by slippage, and finally you’re handed a mouthful of “soup,” only to be docked for “insufficient activity.” Right now, I’m just watching the code merge records and the upgrade cadence; as for other tasks… if you can do less, do less—either way, I don’t want to be a free test subject anymore.
