Gunfire has been heard near the Strait of Hormuz area continuously within the past two hours.

Golden Finance reports that on May 8th, local time, it was learned that gunfire was heard repeatedly near the Strait of Hormuz within a two-hour period.
On the afternoon of the 8th, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran announced that earlier that day, Iranian armed forces had a “sporadic clash” with a U.S. warship in the waters near the Strait of Hormuz.
The Revolutionary Guard did not disclose the specific location of the conflict.
Earlier, there were reports that an explosion occurred on the 8th in the Sirik region of Iran near the Strait of Hormuz, with the cause unknown. (CCTV)
