Just got a bunch of red notification dots on my phone: the testnet points have been updated again… I realize I’m starting to get hooked, treating it as “something that will be redeemed in the future,” and that’s dangerous.

Now I’ve also set stop-losses for the testnet: at most two days per chain, if on the third day it’s still stuck on faucet/bridge/wallet pop-ups going in circles, I’ll just close it; a maximum of 30 minutes per day, if exceeded it means I’m betting on expectations rather than practicing. To put it plainly, the testnet should be about practicing workflows, batch processing, and record-keeping, not about making wishes.

Recently, developers are especially excited talking about modularization and DA layer, but users (me) are often genuinely confused. The more a project loves to tell stories, the more I focus on: Are there clear tasks? Is there a reproducible path? Have anyone identified pitfalls? Anyway, I’d rather miss out than be dragged along by “points anxiety.” That’s all for now.
