According to informed sources, the Trump administration is planning to order U.S. agencies to collaborate with artificial intelligence companies to protect networks from AI-driven cyberattacks, but the directive will not require cutting-edge AI models to obtain government approval. The sources said a draft executive order from President Trump will revise the existing cybersecurity information sharing program to include AI companies and address the threats posed by this emerging technology. These individuals requested anonymity due to confidentiality procedures. The sources indicated that these adjustments will help federal, state, and local networks, as well as U.S. critical infrastructure, more easily identify and patch security vulnerabilities, without imposing new regulations on AI models. It is not yet clear when Trump will sign this measure, and the draft content may still be subject to change. (Cailian Press)
