The word "modularization" sounds like a new hype term; frankly, for a terminal user like me, the most obvious change isn't "more elegant technology," but that blockchains are increasingly like a bunch of assembled toys: the same operation in a wallet might go through different layers, different settlements, with fees and confirmation speeds fluctuating wildly. The experience is a bit like holding a teacup that suddenly gets stirred… the shape is there, but you need to take a sip first to see if it's hot.


Then, seeing the complaints about staking and shared security stacking yields being called "nested dolls," I also feel puzzled: are we reinforcing the foundation, or stacking risks into a multi-layered cake?
If I could only keep one habit: don't chase hot trends, first check if it's hot or not.
