Are banks experiencing a "Kodak moment"? The CLARITY Act hides a true reshuffle behind it

Why has the US banking sector reacted so strongly to the CLARITY Act recently?
Because they suddenly smell the scent of a "shift in the era."
Back then, Kodak invented digital cameras but was afraid it would impact their film business; now banks face the same problem.
On-chain finance is becoming increasingly mature, but traditional banks are reluctant to admit it.
The most dangerous aspect of the CLARITY Act is not opening up to crypto trading, but legitimizing on-chain finance.
Once stablecoins, digital wallets, and on-chain payments receive clear regulatory support, the most profitable traditional banking businesses will be gradually eroded.
Especially since young people simply don’t care about the "bank brand."
They go where transfers are faster, fees are lower, and yields are higher.
And on-chain systems naturally possess these advantages.
If the bill passes, the US could officially enter the "digital financial competition era."
Institutions will flood in, startups will explode, and the stablecoin ecosystem will expand wildly.
Even in the future, American tech companies might launch their own financial systems.
Most importantly:
Once regulation is clear, global capital will reassess the valuation of the crypto industry.
In the past, the market viewed it as "high-risk speculative valuation";
In the future, it might become "financial infrastructure valuation."
This is a completely different story.
So, the biggest impact of the CLARITY Act isn’t necessarily how much BTC will rise, but the entire industry’s identity change.
From a fringe market to mainstream finance.
And every financial revolution, at its core, is a war between "old intermediaries" and "new efficiencies."
Now, the banking industry is desperately lobbying, which actually shows they’ve already started to fear.
